How to use Jasper AI to Write Emails, Texts, Blog Posts, and Social Posts

I've let my blog and social media go for the past two years. I didn't have the inspiration to share now that I'm not in the classroom (my audience is teachers). Nor did I have the time to keep up with all of it. I focused only on my email and text message list, but only because I had someone else write and schedule them for me.

These tasks are time-consuming and require a lot of creativity. So, when I needed to start writing my emails myself again, I started seriously looking into AI help. For a while, I found a lot of generators that were obviously AI. The tone and voice were way off, and the information was iffy at best.

Enter AI. I first started playing around with Chat GPT, and I was amazed at what it could do. However, it was difficult to change the formatting or differentiate between specific purposes (blog, social, email). It was a good way to get started, but it wasn't exactly what I needed for my business.

Soon after, I found Jasper AI. I fell in love with this tool during my free trial and upgraded before it was even over. In my first week, I got two blog posts up, scheduled social media, outlined several YouTube videos, and wrote the email funnel I had been procrastinating on for weeks.

Using Jasper AI for Writing Emails & Text Alerts

Every week, I run a promotion (usually a product discount or training funnel) to both my email and text message list. Leveraging my audience, paired with offering limited-time deals, has increased my product sales by a whopping 34%. The downside is that I have to consistently write emails, which I'm not a fan of.

Jasper AI has been a huge help with this process. Each week, it takes me about 5-10 minutes to write my emails, and subject lines, and summarize it all into a short text message.

Creating Custom Blog Posts That Google Loves

Can AI write blog posts for you? Yes! The concern most people have is that tools will be able to identify that it's written by AI and possibly ding your website in the future. This isn't something that happens, yet. However, you can still use AI to save time when writing blog posts.

The hardest part about writing blog posts is getting started. Jasper AI can help you come up with topics to rank in Google search, and even make a general outline for you! From this outline, you can get started writing quickly. If you have a VA who writes blog posts for you, it can help them focus in on the topic as well.

Using AI for Social Media Posts

Have I mentioned yet that I hate writing? Seriously, most of what I put off in my business revolves around writing. I have so many photos on my phone of resources that I haven't posted to Pinterest or Instagram because the description text is too much work.

Jasper AI has a template for Instagram captions and Pinterest titles & descriptions! I use both of these, and they don't sound like AI AT ALL. I choose a causal tone of voice for these, and they come out ready to use. They even have a Facebook ad tool, which I plan on using next time I make a new ad set!

Answering Customer Service Emails with AI 

I use Helpscout to stay organized with customer service for the multiple sites of my business (writing program, science program, and website store). With the 3 boxes and so much going on, we have a LOT of saved replies. Saved replies are the best way to quickly answer common questions.

I always struggle to word my replies, so I plug in my reply and have Jasper AI make it sound more professional for me.

My Example:

I'm so sorry you're having an issue with our website. Can you tell me exactly which page you're stuck on, and exactly what's happening? Often these issues are due to a browser or device issue, so definitely try a different device/browser.

Jasper's Re-Wording:

We apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing with our website. Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue, such as which page you are on and what is happening? It is possible that this problem may be due to an incompatibility of your browser or device with our website, so we recommend trying a different device or browser to see if that resolves the issue.

Furthermore, it could be helpful to try clearing your browser cache and cookies; these are temporary files stored on your computer that help websites load faster and can become outdated over time. If the same issue persists after attempting these steps, please reach out to us for assistance so we can work together to find a solution.

Outlining YouTube Videos For My Teacher Audience

Two years ago, I committed to posting a video on YouTube every week. I did it for about 6 months, then dropped down to every other week, and then stopped altogether. The issue wasn't the recording part. I love sharing what I know with teachers, and my camera and mic are already set up and ready to go. I even have an affordable video editor, who edits my videos in less than an hour.

My issue was the pre-planning for videos. Not only does it take me forever to research and find video ideas, but it also takes me HOURS to create an outline for each video. Then, I have to come up with the description and title when I upload. It's A LOT of writing, and I got burnt out on it.

I'm about to start my weekly YouTube videos in March, and I already have over 30 videos outlined. Jasper AI did this all from me with just minimal input. It's helped me get past my writer's block (which is a weird thing to have when you're recording videos, haha) and ready to get content back up on one of the best platforms for traffic to my website and TpT store.
